THICC: The Highly-Inclusive Color Code

Otherwise seems good from my perspective, on top of what Alta said above.

For Korea, you should do a separate "Far-left Korea", split it off from "North Korea/Juche State".

And in Japan? I think you should add:

- Chinese Japan
- Korean/Korean-dominated Japan
- European Japan (or, if you want to be ultra-inclusive: French, British, Dutch, German and Spanish Japan)

Thinking on that, (inspired by you Alta) there needs to be a Japanese influenced Korea

Edit: Maybe also Russian and Chinese influenced also

And Asia is done!

looks good, will do some digging to see if you've skimmed anywhere :p
also, you now have double mughal Empire :p

gl for the rest, and thanks for taking our suggestions on board

I think we need some more Vietnam and Cambodia colours.

- Split off Chenla/Land Chenla from Cambodia/Khmer Empire.
- "normal" Far-left Cambodia
- Far-right Cambodia
- some more colours for historic Vietnamese states or uprisings (however, I am not into the precise history of Vietnam)
- also, split off Konbaung from the main Myanmar entry and use it as "far-right Burma".
- a new colour for far-left Myanmar would be good, too.
- the same for specifying which colour a far-left Thailand should get.

And in the Nusantara Section, I have one suggestion, but that one is important:

- Split apart OTL Indonesia, Srivijaya and Majapahit into three different colours.

Otherwise:
- specify a colour for Far-left Indonesia
- the same for Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Christian and possibly Jewish Indonesia (but you can double up a few of the manyfold colours here)
- maybe a colour for a White Supremacist/Apartheid-y Indonesia

The Phillippines section should have, as separate entries:

- Islamist Phillippines
- Sulu Archipegalo
- Far-left Phillippines (Hukbalahap uprising)
- secondary far-left Phillippines (New People's Army)
- German Phillippines
- English Phillippines
- American Phillippines (that's probably what the main colour is for?)
- Spanish Phillippines
- Portuguese Phillippines
- Japanese Phillippines
- Chinese Phillippines
- white supremacist/racist Phillippines
- Theocratic/Catholic Phillippines

To supplement what Alta said, (to use SUCK, as Skalligram, if you do read this, you really went to town on Asia, sick job there mate), here's what I'd suggest for Indochina and Indonesia (It seems Skall also had a few more in other Asian parts, if you feel you would want to touch up prior areas Boris ;) ).

Indochina

-Thailand
-Kingdom of Dvaravati
-Kingdom of Ngoenyang/Hiran
-Lavo
-Hariphunchai/Haribhunjaya
-Lanna Kingdom/Lannathai (along with your Lan Na)
-Rattanatingsa

-Laos
-Phuan (if it is distinct from Muang Phuan
-Monarchist Laos
-Tai people

-Cambodia
-Agreed some of these could be split up,
-maybe also PR of Kampuchea

-Vietnam (can't do the accents, sorry)
-Van Lang/Xich Quy/Lac Viet people
-Au Lac/Au Viet people
-Nam Viet/Nanyue
-Linh Nam (Trung Sisters rebellion)
-Sa Huynh Culture (goes with Champa)

-Malaysia
-Langkasuka
-Tambralinga

-Indonesia
-Sumatra
-Melayu Kingdom
-Banten Sultanate (can go with Sunda, or as a secondary state for the region, as there is a 50 year overlap of existence)

-Java
-Shailendra
-Kahuripan (is this Kanjurupan on the scheme? they were two split Kingdoms)
-Singhasari (Hindu Indonesia)
-Cirebon Sultanate
-Kalinyamat Sultanate
-Surakarta Sultanate
-Yogyakarta Sultanate

-Larantuka (Flores Islands)
-Sasak Principality (Lombok, perhaps can (even if not historical) United Lesser Sunda Islands?)
-Sultanate of Sarawak- White Rajahs
-Kongsi republics (Borneo- Lanfang, Heshun and Santiaogou)
-Malaku Isles (Spice Islands/Tropical Resource territory or something like that)
-Oecusse (secondary Timor L'este, given the fact it is a significant exclave)

For Indonesia as whole, perhaps add as a secondary Federation of Indonesia/ United States of Indonesia. Also a secondary for this, for East Indonesia (1946-50)

North Africa done and additions in Southeast Asia!

Also, here are the header images for Asia
North Caucasus: Old Town of Derbent, Dagestan
South Caucasus: Fire Temple of Baku
Anatolia/Cyprus: Hagia Sophia
Levant: The Treasury of Petra, Jordan
Iraq/Kuwait: Swords of Qadisiyah, Baghdad
Arabia: Dubai Skyline
Persia/Afghanistan: Persepolis Ruins
Central Asia: Gur e-Amir Mausoleum, Samarkand
North India: Taj Mahal
South India: Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Chennai
China: Terracotta Warriors, Xian
Korea: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul
Japan: Himeji Castle
Mongolia/Siberia: Khaan and Khadyn Monument, Kyzyl, Tuva
Indochina: Pagan Ruins, Myanmar
Nusantara: Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur
Philippines: Rizal Monument, Manila

In the Egypt section:

- Split off "United Arab Republic" from "Republican Egypt"
- Add "military-ruled Egypt"
- Add a far-left Egypt
- Add Hyksos/Sea Peoples/Egyptian Thalassocracy

Decent Atla, guess my turn on our two way doubles :p

Egypt
-Delta based state (could tie into sea peoples, if you don't want Hyksos to be that ;), after you get to Polynesia)
-Where should we put the Khievidate (especially when it is under british influence ;) )
-Ancient Egypt should be have a further secondary of Lower Egypt (or put into the rivals), and accordingly, we'd need and Upper Egypt also
-Independent Sinai
-Independent Suez (can also be International connecting state (or something like that) and a Jewish Egypt (what if the revolt was fully successful) )
-a Matrouh (could also represent the whole of ancient Libya (as in Upper Africa) )

Maghreb
Libya
-Senussi people
-Tripoli having Italian North Africa as a secondary (though not sure if colour works)

Tunisia
-Zirzid Dynasty/Other Tunis/other Carthage
-Djerba/Kingdom of Africa

Algeria
-FLN (Front de Libération Nationale)
-Oran/Latin Maghreb
-Fatimid Caliphate
-Kabylia/Shawiya/other berbers
-Aurés/Vandal Kingdom/Secondary berbers(could also have it as secondary barbary pirates)

Morocco
-Ceuta/Melilla/European African City States
-Amazigh/Idrisid Dynasty/Chaouia
-Tangiers should have International city as a secondary

Sahara
-Rio de Oro
-Arguin (Germanic North Africa)
-Bornu

Not sure what else to add, could we have a rough area map drawn, so we understand the scope of your africa regions (as they are pretty uniquely done ;) ) thanks :D.
looks good so far though,
onwards to the mess that is Senegambia (got a good map for there if you want it @Crazy Boris )

woop thanks

Edit: so some more suggestions with that in mind
-Yao
-Tunjur
-Aouzou Strip
-Air
-Timbuktu
-Machina

though again, dang hard to tell which goes where :p, those borders do blur in west/central africa.
Looking forward to what's coming though.

Best of luck ;)

Also feel i should clarify what I meant by Indonesia. Federal Indonesia/US of Indonesia should be a secondary to Indonesia, and East Indonesia should be a distinct, other colour, not as a secondary to the Federal Indonesia/US of Indonesia (sorry for confusion, ik that sentence was a hard one to unpack reading back on it ;) )

Can't say much as very late here (stayed up just for this :p) but would say that perhaps switch the colour for Cameroon and English Cameroon (cause you know, French Cameroon is yellow in the scheme, and you have a blue right next to it :p )

Will add to my list in the near future though, still agog at the pace of this thing, great job

Thank you ^^

I actually picked blue for English Cameroon since that’s the color used on the flag of the Ambazonia independence movement

I would like some colours for the SSNP in the Ethiopia section, and a specific colour for a Russian Ethopia, a Russian Somalia/Djibouti and a Persian East Africa.

For the Gulf of Guinea section, what about a Frafra colour?

Gosh, with all these ideas I would say "Heck, you should make your own scheme,"... but we saw what happened last time.

AND THE BASE OF THICC IS DONE!

Well, not really, I will be going back and adding a few things, but for the most part, all seven continents are ready!

From here, I'll start work drawing up entry lists for the supplementary categories, these will be:
-International Organizations and Alliances
-Rebel, Terrorist, and Separatist Groups (ones already included in the scheme will just be duplicated there)
-Space stuff
-Sci-Fi/Fantasy
-Ideologies
-Economic systems
-Religions
-Biomes
and maybe more if I can think of any (Would there be interest in colors for language families and subfamilies?)
