No Pax Anglicana

At the Sultan’s lair
On 1521, Brunei has known about Ferdinand Magellan and heard about the feats of Lapu Lapu and Lapu Lapu Slaying Magellan.

Abdul Kahar was so amazed at the defeat of Ferdinand Magellan and his own team after his defeat, and he heard about his relative being captured by the Elcano expedition, he would not lift a finger but his relative would be able to free himself.

He knew himself that the Spanish can be a threat to the Bruneian Empire himself.

In the following decades after Ferdinand Magellan came the Muslim missionaries would be vigorously and heavily converting the population of Selurong, Borneo, and the territories of Sulu Sultanate to Islam which would create the Selurong Sultanate and a stronger Bruneian Sultanate which would retain the whole Northern Borneo in the present which would prevent the further expansion of Spain in the Malay Archipelago.

Note: I will erase everything that gave Britain and America an edge IOTL that is the purpose of this timeline and this timeline is inspired by Unblightened Americas.

A disastrous pregnancy and a renunciation
In 1526, Catherine of Aragon would die due to suspicious circumstances and some believed that she was poisoned by the king , on 1528 Henry VIII would remarry to Anne Boleyn and proceeded with betrothing Mary Tudor to the Duke of Brittany which would happen in 1534 a year after the birth of Princess Elizabeth, due to the repeated miscarriages of Anne Boleyn, Anne Boleyn would die on 1537 and remarried to Jane Seymour who would give birth to a son named Edward who would succeed Henry VIII on 1547.

Mary Tudor was forced to renounce her personal claims to the throne on her marriage with the Duke of Brittany and did not regain it during her life as she never asked it from her father and have a daughter from her first husband but her descendants would inherit the throne eventually, she would remarry to James V of Scotland who was widowed twice from Madeleine of Valois and Mary of Guise.
